Our team at Newly believe that as quality care and support professionals, you should be getting access to quality jobs with quality employers. This informs everything we do, from who we choose to work with to the content that we create and share with you. In the end we want you to be successful at every touch point of the employment process to get you working in your dream job.
In order to facilitate this and have you join the Newly community and keep your profile up to date, you need to be able to see the jobs that we have to offer you! This is why we have decided to revamp our jobs page and make it easier for you to navigate and search for the work that interests you.
How do you use it?
We’ve found that a lot of job boards can be quite overwhelming and difficult to navigate at times, requiring you to constantly change settings to find suitable positions. Having the luxury of only operating in the health care industry, we opted for a more streamlined approach – searching based only on location and job type. Easy!
All you need to do is change the filters in the “job search” section on the right side of the page to suit what you’re looking for and you’ll have all of the relevant jobs pop up. From there you can look at each individual position and see if they pique your interest.
How Newly Works
Here’s where things get better. Newly isn’t a regular jobs board. After browsing to see if we have jobs relevant to you, all you need to do is have a complete profile on our website, keep it up to date and the job will find you. No resumes, no having to apply individually for each job that you’re interested in – just one simple profile that hosts all of the details that our database’s matching systems require to match you to jobs. It’s really that easy!
And one other thing: we are very different to a recruitment agency. The jobs that we have on our website are for positions with specific employers – you are hired directly by one of the great providers that we work with and you become a part of their team. This outcome, we feel, is beneficial for all parties involved.
Tips from our Recruitment Consultants
If our matching system alerts us that you’re eligible for one of the jobs that we have available, then you will be contacted by one of our friendly recruitment consultants who will go through a phone interview with you and invite you to an Assessment Centre.
Our senior recruitment consultant, Conor, has these three tips to share after conducting countless phone interviews during his time with us:
- Maintaining your Newly profile: Make sure your profile is 100% complete with accurate information to ensure that our matching system can properly find jobs that are perfect for you. If anything changes such as your location, availability or you attain new qualifications, update your profile to reflect this.
- Have your phone on the ready: You will need to go through a quick phone interview with one of our recruitment consultants if you’re eligible for the position, so expect a call from us – we can be quite persistent!
- Location, location, location: Your proximity to the job opportunity is something we take into account during the matching process as it’s very important to the providers that we work with.
- Bookmark the jobs homepage: We will be updating our jobs page regularly and we encourage you to check back on it as often as possible to see what great opportunities have opened up for you
