We jump at every chance we get to do large scale recruitment projects for our clients. We love the challenges they present, and finding jobs for the great Care and Support Professionals that come through these projects is extremely rewarding. At the end of this day, it’s why Newly exists – to make sure great workers are working in great jobs.
This is why June 2016 has been marked off on all of our calendars for a long time – it’s when we start our next big project with Benetas: recruiting quality Personal Carers for part-time positions in two of their facilities, located in Frankston and Mornington.
For those who’ve not heard of Benetas, they are a non-for-profit provider of Aged Care services, who have been around for over 65 years and they also happen to be one of the largest in Victoria. Among their residential aged care apartments, home and community care packages, and respite care services, Benetas supports over 4,000 elderly clients throughout the state!
Along with providing quality personal care to their clients, Benetas is concerned with transforming the attitudes of society toward the elderly, to align with their organisation’s core values of respect, responsibility, community and spirit.
In other words – they are a great organisation to work alongside with!
How Newly fits in
We have worked with Benetas for a long time, helping to staff their many aged care apartments around Victoria. Late in 2014, we ran a large project for their Colton Close aged care apartment in Glenroy, successfully assessing, training and recruiting quality Care and Support Professionals for the available roles.
This upcoming project will be quite similar – we will be providing an extensive recruitment service to two of Benetas’ aged care apartments: the redeveloped Corowa Court in Mornington and the brand new St Paul’s Terrace in Frankston.
This project includes:
- Advertising for the role
- Phone screening applicants
- Running an Assessment Centre for potential candidates
- Reference checking candidates who were successful through the Assessment Centre
Those last three points are especially relevant, as these are the processes that directly relate to you!
Location, location, location
Benetas has gone to great lengths to ensure that their Corowa Court and St Paul’s Terrace aged care apartments are modern and up-to-date, including brand new facilities and extra beds, making them excellent homes for their elderly clients to live in.
To find out more about Corowa Court and St Paul’s Terrace, simply follow the links below as there is lots of information about them on Benetas’ website!
How to become part of the Benetas team
All that’s left to say now is what you can do to be involved in this project!
We are looking for Personal Carers with their Certificate III in Aged Care to become a part of the Benetas team, and work at their Corowa Court or St Paul’s Terrace aged care apartments. So if you are qualified, have a passion for person-centred care and are keen to work in Frankston or Mornington, then we want to hear from you.
You should also know that our recruitment process is a little different – we want to find out about you as a person and how that fits in with the job, so you will need to be available to attend one of our Assessment Centres. We are still ironing out the dates and locations of these so if you’re interested, please create a profile at www.newly.com.au and we can keep you updated, and more importantly, contact you if you’re eligible for the role!
